1937 Cadillac V16 roadster with a long, odd history. Thought for a long time to be a real Figoni et Falaschi body, it probably isn't. Either way, it's a stunning body coupled with the cachet of Cadillac's 452ci V16 motor. I have seen this car in living colour and it is STUNNING.

I always liked the 1934 Ford V8, and so did this guy. Clyde Barrow liked the ford v8 so much he even sent a letter to Henry Ford, saying what a great car it was.

i gotta say, whilst i'm mostly indifferent to 30's cars - i like them but am not interested enough to be able to identify most of them - my girlfriend looked up from my unique cars magazine the other day and asked if i could get a mercedes 500k roadster from somewhere and 'fix it up'.. spat my coke out when i googled it!

Wow! Where to start? The 30s, for me, are the years when car styling really came of age. Almost any Duesenberg, Packard, or Rolls-Royce from the era has something to offer, but even mass-market cars like the 1934 Ford mentioned by 5150 have real style too. I suppose if I have a favourite coachbuilder from the era it would be Gurney Nutting. Favourite car? I could probably compile a top ten list; the SS100 would feature, as would Gurney Nutting's magnificent 1935 Speedster on a Duesenberg SJ chassis. There would undoubtedly be a Talbot-Lago T150 in Figoni et Falaschi's "Goutte d'Eau" style, plus more. If anyone would like to open this thread into "Top 10 30's cars" I'll happily finish my list, but there are just too many beautiful 1930s cars for me to name a single favourite. If I did, my choice would probably be something different tomorrow!

I'll always be fond of Porsche old one or a new it doesn't matter. This car in spite of the progress save it's individuality for that means a lot.
