    The Official Crashed Veyron Thread

Following on after the Crashed Enzo thread, we now have the Crashed Veyron thread.

    Numero Uno:
An example of the world’s fastest production car, the Bugatti Veyron was involved in a road accident in Surrey on Sunday afternoon, March 4.

The unnamed driver is said to have lost control of the 1000bhp, 253mph supercar when it hit a patch of standing water on the B375 near Shepperton. The four-wheel drive Veyron then aquaplaned and crashed nose first into a ditch by the side of the road. It is not known whether any other vehicles were involved although Surrey Police have no record of the accident, suggesting the driver arranged himself for the car to be recovered. Doubtless the embarrassed owner is lying low and contemplating the sort of repair bill only a wrecked £800,000 supercar can create.

well I think they said 300, i laugh at the fact they now have to fly in a special mechanic to do the repairs, whether the owner likes it or not! But they can get it done within 24 hours, thats dedication.

Well if i had one, i dont think i would want a say in the matter, i would just want it cleared up as quickly as possible and back to how it was, without anyone ever finding out! Thats why they didnt report the accident, not surprised lol, I wouldnt have done.

Couldn't you just swing by the local VW dealer and have it checked out? Great service by the way. Paid over 1 million for a car. I better have top notch service for that.
