Well, I would not buy either car for itīs handling prowes to be honest. Mustangs, Camaros and Challengers are all about the engine. And which one will get you down the 1/4 mile faster then the other to be honest.

Even though the Camaro feels heavy, Iīve seen YouTube videos that show itīs the fastest 0-60 and down the 1/4 mile of the 3, execpt for the Shelby.

But the most important thing here is the fun to drive factor, if you like the Mustang better than the Camaro, then go fot it!! The Camaro might beat you on friday night drags, but if that is not paramount to you, who cares???

Get the car you like the most and enjoy

rooster juice, i see we have the same issues with american muscle cars. they look nice outside but the inside sucks. they sound nice but go nowhere. id hate to own one but i do admire them. is 35k is ur price range and you need something for 4 people you can get away with a 135i (but it is small) or better yet go for a 335i coupe or sedan certified pre owned. i'm sure you can find a 2008 or so in your price range. that engine is insane and you can easily chip it and get much more power. My uncle has an unchipped 335i and he blows away mustangs all day long. American cars are just slow on the highway. besides the 335i handles awesome and gets great gas mileage both city and highway. Another consideration is a G37. Great car, its not as smooth and subdued as the BMW but it still fast like a bat out of hell. The engine is wild and powerful with a crazy nice sound. Ride quality is great and interior is laid out well.

/\/\/\ Ummm, I don't know about calling a 2010 Camaro SS and a 2011 Mustang GT slow.......especially when comparing them to a 135i or G37. To get comparable performance to either of these American ponies you're going to have to spend a fair bit more money (in the US, of course)..........A LOT more if you want that car to be a BMW.

Great write up BTW, rooster. Good luck with your purchase.

I vote for the 'stang. They are good looking, reasonably priced and weigh less (and wen most comparisons, obviously). But no matter what you buy, i hope you'll be happy with it.

The 2011 Mustang, b/c it can handle and the 5.0 is back

Although, I'd prefer the 2011 Shelby...

The G8 is available in the US, sadly not in Mexico.

He is, but production has ceased. How have the VEs been holding up down yonder? Because a secondhand one of these might be quite the steal with Pontiac no longer existing and all, especially if they last a while.
