racey racey! background in pic 2 (friends' XC) you can see the elevation change on that first corner.. the track is on the left, then loops back where that car in the far background is.

it is pretty scary, hungry corner ate three cars that day!
if i had incar camera consensus would be "could be faster"
it's not bloody likely i'd be pushing it further, already using all of the track haha.

Duct tape. It's invincible. Plus you're wearing a helmet so even if it comes loose you're good.

i doubt that would pass tech. they do sell both cage mounts and suction cup based window mounts, and they aren't too terribly expensive.

scrutineering would never pass a duct tape mount.
that is, if it wasn't me doing scrutineering for the club.

but yeah, i'll get a mount at some point.

The cams scruits are real pricks, I have my camera attached in a enclosed housing and they still may not pass it this year. The scruit told me it has to withstand a impact of 10g, as I said to the scruit if I have a crash with a 10g impact , the last thing I will be worring about is a farkin camera belting me.

Clutch check the comparison between the old go pro and the new hd one

haha too right, i'd love to just fix a camera onto the front bumper (put the sound pickup elsewhere?), failing that i'll mock a box to put the vidcam in.
i do the scrutineering so it'll pass *cough*

i had some people tell me to just trust the car to do it's thing. no bloody way, maybe at QR, but not with zero runoff right next to a lake
oddly despite being a smaller track i still hit a higher top speed than QR .. at the cost of my trousers coming into two corners in particular.
