I think that's part of the appeal though. What looks like a completely dull and unassuming family hacthback is in fact a firebreathing, supercar-trouncing homologation special. Especially the ones pre 1991 emphasise the Q-car looks which in my view makes them even more appealing. It's not an in your face car like the Escort Cosworth, rather something much more restrained and dare I say it, cool.

Great, the 147 is also a definite option for us.

    This is my opinion.

Asian automotive perfection - Honda NSX-R or my 1982 Honda Civic.

European automotive perfection - BMW M3 CSL

American automotive perfection - 1967 Ford Mustang fastback or coupe or Mopar SRT Dodge Viper (Erm... the black one without that red stripe on the front).

you knew what i meant - surely youve got better things to do than correct my minor spelling mistakes.

The Delorean is fairly nowhere interms of performance but its an absolute classic and i'd reckon you'd get just as many looks from that as you would from the countach.

I don't think a 105 Series would be that bad, given a proper maintenance.

I would say that the best looking Aston Martin would be a DB4 Zagato Sanction II in my opinion.

I have never driven a f355 but the 512 would be my pic, drove one once and loved it.
