    The best Sportscar/GT car!

Which is the best Sportscar/Gt car. That doesnt have to be the mot succesful but it could be your favorite. In my opinion the Audi R8 is the most successful sportscar in recent times with the Bentley bein the only car to beat it at lemans in the last 4 years, and the 911 GT3 is the most successful Gt car. But my favorite Sportscar is the Porsche 962, and GT has to be the old Oreca Viper GTS-R's. Two of the most dominant racing cars of their times.

I like the R8 and the Marcos Mantara. The Mantara looks like it could eat other cars.

The most successful GT statistically must be the Mercedes CLK LM
8 wins from 8 starts in the 1998 season.
This was after breaking down two hours into its' first race, the Le Mans 24hrs

Combined with victories early in the season from the CLK GTR, Mercedes went undefeted that year.

Le Mans was not actually part of the FIA GT championship.
Therefore Mercedes was unbeatable as a GT car, but not as a Le Mans challenger.

    Ah balls!
I just did some research to back up my point, only to prove myself wrong.

I didn't think that Le Mans was a championship round, but it is.

    Thanks for all the fish

Just thought of another great GT car, the Ferrari 250 GTO. It won the World Championship for Ferrari in '62, '63, and in '64.
