Opel Zafira

The Opel Zafira, also as the Zafira Tourer since 2011, is a compact MPV engineered and produced by the German automaker Opel. Built since early 1999, the Zafira is sold under the Vauxhall marque in the United Kingdom, as well as under a number of other market-specific brands and names.


Zafira A 1999-2005
The first generation of Zafira is usually referred to as Zafira A, as is customary for Opel models. Developed with the aid of Porsche, the Zafira was first shown in concept form at the 1997 Frankfurt Auto Show and entered series production in January 1999, with sales beginning in April.

It was followed in 2005 by the Zafira B
