I will do the better ! I would download 3D models of the all and printed them out I have even looked at some models and choose what exactly I want . But for real, I would prefer an E-type !

E-type would be at the top of my list too, but you may want to see if there's any aftermarket electrics to re-wire it with. The original stuff will give you headaches. Second choice is the 400.

I kinda like the Lotus, but...something in the back of my head says "no", for some reason.
An it harm none, do as ye will

I would choose a Fiat 2300 S Coupe Abarth Ghia,
rarer and handles better than an E Type, even faster and sounds
better, a wonderfull underrated GT from Italy.
A kind of Ferrari 330 GT made by Osi and Abarth for Ghia and Fiat.
Design by Tom Tjaarda, Sergio Sartorelli and Virgil Exner Jr.

Engine Inline 6 HEMI design by Aurelio Lampredi the Ex. Ferrari Engineer.

The fantastic 2300 inline 6 Hemi engine stock 150 HP version.

Hot spec optional 3 carb 200 HP version Abarth kit fitted (rarer!) !!!

This engine is better revvs more sweetly than the Nissan inline 6 or the Pagoda 230 engine.

One of the best inline 6 Engines ever together with BMW, would say its better than the Maserati 3500!
(Much more sweeter revving than the longstroke stuff from britain and its reliable and easy to maintain)
For the price of one better Ferrari you can get 3- 10 or even 50 ;-) Fiat 2300S Coupe in like new 1st Hand condition!

    As you can see here

Fiat 2300 S Ghia Sensationell, einmalig!!! als Sportwagen/Coupé in Hamburg

the Fiat 2300S Coupés are truly affordable compared to an early E Type or Ferrari,
I am sure these Fiats will gain value as hell in the nearer future because they are an ideal base for historical 1960s rally and race events.

This dash is as nice as any Ferrari or maserati dash,
a true masterpiece of 1960s sports car styling.
I bet, you wont expect this from a "humble" Fiat ehh? Fiat did not earn money with these
elite cars they were as expensive as a Mercedes Pagoda or Jaguar E Type. (No joke!)

I have got another excellent option.
Its the brother of the Ferrari 412 range...
its the Fiat 130 3200 V6 Pininfarina Coupé,
get one with 5 speed florrshuift box and it will outperform
an average 400-412 Injection anytimes...those Ferrari are too heavy
and they are not that fast as you migh expect, I had both the Fiats excellent
roadholding and handling is miles over most Ferrari....
you wont be disappointed, a good Fiat 130 Coupe 3200 V6 is affordable and
a great classic! Maybe Pininfarinas best 1970s masterpiece of styling!
And it has an Aurelio Lampredi V6 DOHC very close to the Ferrari Dino range...

The Fiat 130 Coupé 3200 V6 was the original 1971 design of Sergio Pininfarina and Paolo Martin,
the Ferrari 400, Peugeot 604 and Rolls Royce Camargue came some years later!
The 130 Coupe received some of the worlds most important style auto awards.
Its a super high quality car with a true racecar suspension, as good if not even better than used in the
    heavy Ferrari 365 / 400 / 412,
find a good one with 5 speed floorshift in Italy without rust and do immediately a major
waxoil rust proof service, and always change the cam belt any 60.000 KM plus any 10.000 Km a
precise valve adjustment by shims, same cam adjustemt system as used on Ferrari Dino 246GT and Fiat DOHC 2000 !

These cars turly were something like an italian Rolls Royce or Bentley coupé,
very very well made and intelligently sized in the interior too...

The 130 can be as fast as any Ferrari rear wheel drive road car...
few people know how fast such a handshifted 130 is...like a missile.
    Acellerates better than a 1972 Corvette 5.7, breathtakingly for a 1971 4 seat luxury coupe´.
Try that with a 412 and you will notice that the V12 Injection 400/412 wont pull that strong...
another story would be a Lamborghini Espada V12 Mk1 that is truly a rocket on wheels, faster than anything
    4 seated I ever drove.

Fiat 130 3200 Pininfarina Coupé on a longer Autobahn high speed journey...
And this was only 2/3 throttle :-) I can go full throttle = 240 KM/H shown on speedo but this will revv the
engine to 7,5 grand... ( German Autobahn demands a lot from any vintage car! )
I have seen Ferraris, Corvettes, Jags and Astons and other exotic cars with major engine breakdowns
after going for a longer German autobahn journey...
The Aurelio Lampredi designed Fiat DOHC 3200 V6 engine is stronger than you would expect,
very reliable, torque like a bull (for this engine size) ....
it never developed any quirks or strange heat problems..

    You are all wrong.

The Fiat you have to choose is the superbly exotic 126.

    Admire it's lovely, sporty body.

The italian throughbred engine under the bonnet produces 23 rampaging stallion horespowers. More than enough to beat a Ferrari... when it's standing still.

The boot is as far smaller than any Ferrari, which makes it a far better supercar.

Look at that! It makes the Beta Coupe look like a van! The superb 126 looks like it's doing 200mph when it's standing still!

Thank to the great rear engined rear wheel drive layout it can handle snow much better than any Jaguar. And thanks to lack of speed it handles better than any 911.

And it is of course much cheaper to buy and run than any Maserati. As you can see, you can mend it with some spanners.

Put a 126 in your life! You'll never regret it!

    Sorry, couldn't resist
Lack of charisma can be fatal.

There were Fiats made to the very best worlds standards
(Some even more expensive than a Jaguar E Type!)
and on the other hand some cheap "people´s fiat"
to use and throw away like a VW...
    something completely different.
    Dont compare waste with jewels.

Dont forget the Fiat 8V! Never call it a Yugo super sport or something like this...
    it isnt!

one mio dollars value today! For the same price you could buy a BMW 507 V8 Roadster or Mercedes 300SL Gullwing!
