    Yeah, i can understand why you guessed it was sold at auction. Unless maybe it was traded for another classic at a car show? Who knows, will need to investigate further tomorrow, after i come back from school. Can you maybe give me some sites that could help me, or would it be the best idea to run it through google/yahoo/msn?

    I think you got it.

    Front end of this car definitely looks like 1924 Vauxhall Type OE (odd shape of hood, number and postion of vent slits, shape of lever). Reference pics here.

    Most likely it is a one-off (as suggested by henk4 and Matra).
    Bodywork is from aluminium and looks kinda racy, so it could be an ex-race car?

    at least the gear shifter looks remarkably similar on both cars
