Of course I support the Netherlands, but I also go with Australia. Because Guus Hiddink is also the coach of PSV Eindhoven, the team I go to every home match for 8 years now.

Switzerland have a VERY solid team. They don't have any star players as such, but they're extremely tough to break down.

To be honest though, the whole of the Turkey v. Switzerland playoff has been marred by the brawl on the pitch and in the tunnel after the match. Add to that the typical disgraceful, violent and racist behaviour of a large proportion of Turkish fans and I think the World Cup will be a better tournament without them I'm afraid.

i guess the biggest surprises are:

Turkey failing to qualify. they finished 3rd last time.

Greece failing to qualify. they just won the european cup.

4 of the 5 African qualified teams, reached the world cup for the first time in their history. (Tunisia is the only team that had previously qualified).

Trinidad and Tobago reaching the fnals for the first time in history.
