New info on the Bugatti Veyron

    I've scanned this from my just-bough "L'Auto-Journal".

    Translation:

    Bugatti Veyron
    The real numbers!

Thomas Bscher, boss of Automobiles Bugatti, received L'Auto-Journal and announced new numbers on the fabulous Bugatti Veyron. Astonishing!

2 Weekly production of the beauty, starting this summer.

3 In seconds, it's the time necessary to go from 0 to 100 km/h.

7 Ferdinand Piëch, President of the Volkswagen Group's board has reserved the Veyron with the chassis number 7(for his wife...), this number being his favourite one.

17 In seconds, the time necessary to go from 0 to 300 km/h.

26 In litres, the fuel consumption for 100 km...

50 The number of people working at the Molsheim assembly factory.

100 In litres, the total of all liquids on board, oil and water... The fuel tank also contains 100 l.

392 In km/h, the max speed attained by the last prototype as of now.

800 In kilos, the weight of the engine and gear box only.

1950 In kilos, the weight of the production version, with the objective to go under 1900 kg before commercialization in September...

1 000 000 In euros, the price of the Veyron which, contrary to rumours, will not be higher.

100 liters of oil and coolant, plus 10o litres of fuel. Is this a tanker?
