What do you think is better?
What do you think is better?
Oh god someone lock this now!
this is gonna turn out to be the biggest flame/biased thread ever
Yep when I saw the thread I thought here comes a Slicks VS Matra again...
Generally European cars are better, but i'd prefer a Corvette to A Skoda Fabia ey?
Don't get me wrong, I like Skoda's, but Corvettes are...better.
ys i would also take an Lotus elise over a chevrolet cavalier.Originally Posted by Spastik_Roach

Who killed the Electric Car?
GO HABS GO!
American cars are better on American roads.
European cars are better on European roads.
"Foreign" suppliers try to modify there platform to match the "market needs".
For some it works for some it doesn't.
NOW comes the personal opinion bit - it's easier to take a good handling car and make it softer than it is to go the other way. So more "Foreign" cars are accepted in the US market than US cars are outside. It's harder to make a small engine acceptable for long tedious journeys. So more "foreign" cars AREN"T accepted in the US market than US care are outside.
As it's CARS you're asking about then it cannot be answered
If you SPECIFY WHICH CARS then it can be !!

ooo i just saw this thread
I'd have to say, Europe makes super awesome supercars, and equally so does America...except we call them musclecars...example 1969 Camaro's, Viper's, older and newer corvette's
but for the everyday driver, i'd say that America and Japan have mastered the art of family or personal vehicles, especially Honda, Lexus, Toyota, Ford and Chevy
its all personal opinion, so yeah this thread is ..........yeah

Hmm interestring take on the "family car", werty.Originally Posted by werty
VW, Ford, GM have taken on the Japanese cars and beaten them in Europe.
Renault and Citroen sell by the bucket loads. So much so with Renault they buy a controlling share in the Japanese 'greats' and turn the comapny around. Gosen is talked about in management circles as an example of excelletn leadership - it used to be everyoen looked to Japan for manufacturing leadership design. Now Nissan relies on a Brazilian workign for a French company to teach them how to get even ebtter
This is one of those horrible comaprisons becaues the cars you see aren't the ones we get - you have to wait about 5 years
