a nice sportscar w/out the high price.

Hey, everyone! It's great to speak with you all again. I saw this ferrari F430 and I wanted to see if I could find a car with almost the same look, especially from the back (low and wide); on another car that wasn't so expensive. The only car that seems to be close,... is the corvette. The corvette is fairly expensive and I could probably manage that... if it's $34,000.00. But I wanted to get your advice and see if there was one cheaper than the corvette but also looked about the same as a corvette. It would really mean a lot to me if you spared me some advice. Thank you for reading.

So you're saying your budget is $34,000?

With that kind of money, you can get most average sportscars on the market, but your best bet is to go used. My recommendations would be a C5 Corvette or mid-90's NSX.

Lotus is a possibility although it may look a bit different then a Ferrari...

Used Boxsters can be found pretty cheap...

If you want to go cheaper theres always MX5s and Solstices...

I'm going to assume you're from the USA.

For the high-end range of your budget, you could get a used Lotus Elise. Do so.

That is your best choice, kindly ignore all other suggestions.

    thank you

Thanks you guys for the great and "fast" replies to my post. You all have really help a lot and I appreciate it. Thanks again. Oh yeah, I am from the U.S and my budget $28,000.00 but I think the dealer won't mind letting me go on a 2 -3 year plan to pay off $6,000.00.

You won't get any of these cars for a decent price if you go through a dealer.

Buy a used Toyota MR2 spyder and spend the money race-prepping and tuning out the built-in understeer.

Or you could sweet-talk the dealer into letting you have one at that price.
I'm dropping out to create a company that starts with motorcycles, then cars, and forty years later signs a legendary Brazilian driver who has a public and expensive feud with his French teammate.

What are you going to be doing with this car? Boulevard cruising? Weekend warrior? High performance driving events?

And an Elise is a hellish daily... </can of worms>

If you were on the track a lot with your car, the Elise is your best bet.

Otherwise, a Honda Integra, used NSX, even a Ferrari 308 might fit.

Can I be biased by telling him to get a Corrado and swap a R32 drivetrain into it? Cause that'd be pretty fun.

If i got a corvette or something similar, I would definitely be a boulevard cruiser and a weekend worrior. I'll look into the new vehicles the members have suggested. For me it's having a beautiful, fast car. If it's beautiful; i'll look good on the road and if it's fast, i'll have what's under the hood to brag about. I would let the thought of a corvette go for something similar and cheaper though. I'm considering the other cars that you all have mentioned. They look just as good. Why would i not get a good deal from the dealer on a high class car like the corvette?

Trans Am, Camaro - Cheaper then corvette with same layout. Slight modification will get them going quickly (in a straight line).
