    Longest running production model

So I was up last night going to bed when i got to thinking, What car was in production the longest? Only one that could come to mind was the corvette which started in 1953,so theyve been doing it for 50+ years

So I was wondering if there was another car thats been in constant production for a longer period of time.

VW Beetle and Mini Cooper dont count. Or situation slike that, hwere they ceased production for a period of time.

When exactly did they stop Beetle or Mini production? The original Beetle was produced for a while after the New Beetle was introduced and the Mini was replaced by the MINI.

with the same body style, the original Lada is still being produced. The Corvette has just kept the name, it is a totally different shape.

the NAME Escort has been going on for a while. It did encompass both FWD and RWD cars (same as with the Corolla), I don't think that counts.
However somebody mentioned the Land Rover Defender, and in that case the Wrangler is still consistently showing in every aspect that it is WWII Technology.

    Morgan?
They change engines and other technical stuff to make it up to all the safety and environmental laws, but the body is still pretty much like it was when they started production in 1936 (or somewhen around then).
It's not denial. I'm just very selective about the reality I accept.
