It's a available for order. Or should I say it was since it's already more than sold out (more than 1000 orders in 15 days for a 500 units production run). If you fancy one and you can afford one you'll just have to wait to the Spider.

The 8C is sex, but it's a 2007 car. As is the Audi R8. Which is why you won't be seeing any of these cars in any other CotY test. Which is why I'm wondering why they're even here.

S-Class and Panda should be higher up, and i dont think the C6 deserves to be that high, but credit to it for winning over many people with.

Agree with R8 and 8C but still, they're amazing. I just hope they can make the 8C drive as well as it looks

Why not? For me the C6 is a very important car for many reasons. First it signals the return of the big Citroen and for that alone it should be high on the list of any car enthusiast. But it also looks the part, is packed with technology, it's not sporty and most importantly it's a big saloon that's not german.

I might be wrong, but... most of the list are for 'consumers'; non-car enthusiast readers to comprehend. <- It's boring

Most cars in regular COTY awards are production runs that finalization of specs and looks happend 2 years back. . . . we UCPians, based on certain manufacturer's traits and history, CEO in place, hints from previous car shows and other member's response .... could actually 'predict' good or bad cars more accurately than average Joes, hence i believe our COTY awards can include confirm production run cars.

I.E : When you know of the 997's launch, would you expect if of being any bad? Especially after knowing the variable geometry Turbo unit?

good point, but porsche is not exactly unpredictable.
whereas Alfa is a bit of a variable... the 8C could be utter shite, mediocre but fabulaously looking or sublime - there's no recent precedent from alfa to predict what it could be like

And those are very important things a real COTY should qualify to...

    Except for the German thing...
