That is a good idea a barbershop having those vintage radios... they must get a lot of attention.
Not sure if they get a lot of attention, but I did like the haircut they gave me, which was important, since usually I get a haircut for $4. But since I can't go home and the cost of traveling included, it's cheaper to get a haircut close by campus.

I think they weren't used to giving haircuts to Asian people, it's a very rural, small town.

    A $4 haircut? Where I live, they cost $15-17.

    That's Chinatown for you.

No wash though. Still, I think that's more than reasonable.

    Two of these ....

Daughter and friend doing a space hop across the Forth Road Bridge ...

thankfully NOT the Forth Rail Bridge ...

I'm "support team" for the exercise and by clever "management" avoiding having to space-hop myself

She is doing it to raise further funds for the charity she is working with when she heads off to Italy in 2 weeks to assist as a clinical psychologist in a centre for the mentally disabled. Proud of her wanting to give back to those who are often forgotten in the world of fund raising for "good causes".

AND on the "fund raising", if anyone wants to give to assist and will post pics of the "event" here if raise enough then anything from a dollar/euro/pound/rupee/kroner/(insert national currency) to 2 makes a difference.

Heather Locke is fundraising for Inter-Cultural Youth Exchange (Icye-Uk) Ltd

( hmm know it's borderline spam and pulling on folks heart-strings, but forgive me and pass by if it bothers you. Thanks )

Not heatsink, but guiding airflow, limiting heat dissipation from cards plugged and (imho) catering to the vanity of the purchaser who wants the expensive things to "look cool"

Should be closing the sale by the end of this month, I will still own the apartment and rent it out. I'll post better pics once I get the keys and interior photos after we get the tiles changed and furniture placed
