i think that germans are the best in manufacturing luxury cars simply because of its quality which is better than cadillac and jaguar .
In my country lebanon people do not buy used cars other than german cars.

I would have until a month ago.

My Auntie is buying a Mercedes Benz model to come...

And every week they go to pick it up they find another problem with it,
It's done i think she said 2 moduals were faulty, Now it has paint chips, So off they go again tomorrow to pick up the car and they will be thinking what else could go wrong..
Hopefully she will bring it around tomorrow so i can snap some picks and get the model it is, All i know is it's a A-Class.

That's because it's a Mercedes. And we all know that chinese cars are built better than a Benz.

All I can say is that in 3 years and 71,000km the Mini has been faultless.

Slick if its a '99 or 2000 model then do your Auntie a seriously big favour and advise her to bail out. Those early models of the A-class are a real nightmare

My dad has a '99 bimmer 528i, and its been through around 90,000 miles, and it still rides amazingly. I can't think of any serious problems that have happened besides typical aging (wearing out of brakes, tires, idle a little low), and any problems have been serviced right away by BMW.
    I'd rather go German.

    Thats what i thought...

She got it yesterday but she didn't bring it last night, She is complaining her cheap husband got a manual and it's so touchy everything is electric she is very confused right now.. Hopefully next week she will bring it, But she usually parks out the front on the nature strip, But she isn't allowed to with this car so it's got to come in the drive way, And if you don't know our driveway ask some of the boys that have been here it's a mini S it's a prick to get in and out of, So i get to drive it.

But apparently it had chips galore in the paint and they had to go back and fix it, I'm thinking how did this happen and get passed the final checks? Maybe in shipping?.

I think German cars are better. Americans offer better bang for you buck, but I think German cars just have the power to burn. Such as an M5 taking on a
Z06. Yeah, the Corvette would probably win, but the M5 is more likely more street worthy. It's more comfortable to live with. Maybe Australian cars can join the list becausesome Yanks are actually Aussie cars such as the G8 and the GTO Coupe. Add in the upcoming G6 that may be coming and you got some pretty good cars there.

In America you could probably make an arguement for American cars, but on the world stage, German cars win hands down in every instance.

    No. Audis are useless everywhere.
