    I think the car you are referring to is the SP1 - it was a one off F430 as part of a new program of Ferrari's that allows their cars to be coachbuilt.

    I doubt Porsche and Daimler-Benz allow you to create new bodywork for your car. This is what the new Ferrari customisation programme allows you to do. If I'm not mistaken Rolls-Royce does something similar. And there are always coachbuilders like Castagna or Zagato.
