Well perfection varies from person to person...

The Delorian a bit too heavy, isn't it?

So, what's perfect perfomance then? Faster the better? Fast on gravel or fast on tarmac? Almost as subjective as perfect design, isn't it?

To me a perfect car is a car that makes me feel good. You can't get more subjective than this, can you?

Here is my latest wet dream, a nice 1983 Alfa GTV6. Yours only for 7,750 €. Wish I could spend that kind of money on old rustbuckets...

    That's expensive, actually.

    I've seen GTV6s going for 4.500€.

It naturally depends on the condition of the car - the price range for GTV6 is from 2,000€ to 12,000€.

Why not go for that while we are at it?

Now you've completely lost it. Only three were ever built, how many of them have survived till today?

It is a perfect dream car, I'll give you that.

True, but for me to be perfect a car has to be usable every day and where I live an RS is just wildly impractical.

And an Aston more perfect than the DB9? You must be joking...it's probably the most elegant and beautiful car I've laid eyes on.

I agree on the impracticality. In fact for me a Carrera S would do.

On the Aston front, in my opinion the DB7 is so much better looking than the DB9. Of the DB9 I especially dislike the way the doors open. The interior is truly great though.

Even if it was it still wouldn't be my favourite Aston Martin.

Why dislike the way the doors open on the DB9?

Its a great design - both the handles and the 'swan wing' so you can still exit when next to a high gutter. That the door does not have stop points, but will hold at whatever point past 30 degrees open is a nice touch too.

I'm not discussing the utility of them (they are probably great as you say), but I just don't like the way the looks when they are open outwards and upwards.

I know, it's nitpicking and I certainly wouldn't turn it down just for that.
