Doesn't it have to do with European noise regulations or something like that? I agree its stupid and something that is hopefully easily removable with some coding and minor exhaust work.

Well I don't know if it is due to the noise regulations, but I guess Daimler faces the same ones and their AMG models sound... like the god of thunder.

And besides that, it is never going to be sporty because it's way to heavy.
It doens't mather how much power you may put in it. When going around corners, weight kills pleasure.
