Excellent Frank, I tried to find any footage of the Manta in the last race. No luck. Do you find any on German sites ??

The Scamander- an amphibious vehicle designed by former TVR boss (?) Peter Wheeler.
Looks interesting, but I don't think I could listen to those cooling fans all day long.
And if they're interested in a military use, that canopy does not look practical for a stretcher.

Life's too short to drive bad cars.
I like this video & i like Ronaldinho. World's best football player. Ronaldo de Assis Moreira (born 21 March 1980 in Porto Alegre), commonly known as Ronaldinho. Ronaldinho is one of few Brazilian players to have played at every international age level. He was part of the first Brazilian team to win the FIFA U-17 World Championship in 1997..
Wow! Did you use that newfangled thing called Wacky-pedia on the Google to find this?
I'm dropping out to create a company that starts with motorcycles, then cars, and forty years later signs a legendary Brazilian driver who has a public and expensive feud with his French teammate.

Let's cut a F1 car in half!
However, although I know the engine and gearbox are secret stuff, I'd wish they'd shown that in more detail.

Background music is a bit too loud, but it looks like an awesome event!
Interesting how the non Japanese drivers still addressed the crowd. Either they're quick to assimilate or they're very good at memorizing.

Well, Porsche adopted the policy that their customers should pay for their factory racing....like Penske for the LMP cars, or Felbermayer for their GT2 efforts. So far it has proven to be the commercially more viable thing to do. And why would they destroy that principle by fielding "official" factory cars, which will be quicker than the customer cars?
The new LMP1 effort could change all this, as it highly unlikely that they will find "customers" to run this, unless they also come up with an LMP2 version
Edit: Nice clip b.t.w.

Taht kind of was my point Pieter. They leave the "Privateers" to do the work adn build the knowledge while Porsche concentrate of hte likes of the Cayenne ?
( and it was meant in jest, Porsche will always have a heartbeat of motorsport. I just wish they'd embrace it fully before the new generation of marketing in the company forget WHY you do motorsport )
