    not really.
    The Irish Road Race series is as daangerous, but not with the speeds or variety of challenge of the TT.

    Everyone should make plans to come to the island at least once in their life. MUCH better than an F1 or WRC event

    Yep, always take the bike. 2am ferry after 3 hour ride down from Scotland
    ALWAYS ride the course and occasionally when feeling brave done it at 5am when quiet enough that flat out over the mountain is "safe". Nothing beats that for buzz !!
    Over the 10 years I have run up in excess of 200 laps.
