Not all of them are as well done as the 360, but I do like the Datsun at the very beginning.

I like the art style, I feel that the massive greenhouse doesn't really work for a lot of them.

Too much greenhouse, not enough funhouse... here's a page from the 1962 special edition of Christophorus. Old-skool pic distortion.

When possible, I like to park one of my classic cars next to a modern one just to compare the difference in styling over 30 or 40 years.

I had a few good opportunities to do that today.

Here is my '66 Plymouth Fury VIP parked next to a late-model Toyota Camry from the front and from the back...

especially the first picture shows the development in aerodynamics and hence mileage that we have seen over the past 50 years....

Yes, the Plymouth does have a large front area. On the other hand, it's all real metal (no plastic)! Adds weight but sure does look good when waxed.

proper waxing adds little to the aerodynamics...

No, but it does help attract attention at a car show.

And both pictures show why the visibility is poor on many late-model cars. All four fenders are easily visible on the Plymouth. And the front end does not slope down so you know where the front of the car really ends. That Toyota in the photo has a high belt-line which does negatively affect visibility.

I did another side-by-side comparison. This time with the '69 Cadillac Fleetwood.
I parked it next to a Scion TC. The '69 Fleetwood "seems" to take up more of the parking space.

Correction: My Cadillac is parked next to an Infiniti G35, not a Scion. The Scion is two parking places past the Infiniti. And the car in between those two is a BMW 325i.

Drove the '76 Limousine today. (First time in 15 days.)

Drove over to a parking lot and parked next to a few cars.

One was a Cadillac CTS. Here is a side-by-side comparison.

Best craigslist car ad ever! A shame it was flagged... sure, it was bound to appear on other car sites. "Every previous owner has had a beard"!

EDIT: Apparently, this is the actual car ad that's acceptable to CL. Boooooring: 1995 Pontiac Grand Am GT
