Hey that you get some boring rubbish Accord in the US isn't our fault.

That's the Accord for us. The fact that you think it is premium when it's average, isn't our fault either.

Whos says it's premium? It's the entry level car for Acura.

Also I think the TSX has a different suspension setup, more alike to the Euro-R.

Well we've got something called the Type-S. Don't know how that compares to the Euro R (why is it called Euro, if it's not sold in Europe? ).

I never used HP per Litre for the comparrison. Ferrari engines are the epitome of high quality workmanship and it also comes with a price most of us will never be able to write on a check. Many car companies have used forced induction, bigger displacements, and so forth to acheive high numbers out of their engines but few have really succeded in doing so. Mazda on the other hand has done just that and thats the point im trying to make...

It was the older Type S, but anyway the TSX has a slightly different supension setup then the Accord.

Oh and I love how in Europe VW is considered premium when here they are considered cheap.

That does not mean I was using hp/L for comparrision, and I wasn't refering to just N/A cars... Car comanies use whatever method possible to squeeze as much horsepower out of their engines. Turbocharging, supercharging, big displacement, high compression, variable valve timing, the list goes on. I was referring to the fact that out of all methods used by car companies to produce power very few acheive a high hp per liter gain regardless what method they use. Im sure mazda could have also said "HEY EVERONE LETS BUILD A BIG ENGINE WITH HIGH COMPESSION RATIONS AND USE THAT FOR THE MAZDASPEED VEHICLES" just as simply as saying "LETS USE A FOUR CYLINDER INSTEAD BUT WITH A TURBOCHARGER". And do you really think that NA and Forced induction is an excuse that a FERRARI owner can use when someone driving a car with a four cylinder turbo beats them at a race?? NO!!!

There are alot of turbocharged vehicles with High HP/L, it means nothing. Any manufacturer could make a vehicle with a turbocharger that reaches over 100HP/L.

Great but you have to reckon that getting highish specific outputs with forced induction engines is easy/cheap. That's why I thought your comparison was out of place, since the two engines aren't really comparable in my opinion.

No the two engines are no where near comparable your completely right about that. But like I said with regards to this thread between an Acura TL and the Mazdaspeed 6 the Mazda comes way out on top in terms of permormance and engine design. And lets not forget the benefits of DISI injection. Also keep in mind that the TL motor is SOCH which is ok for some cars but I've always found that the best honda/acura engines came with DOHC.

But they're not competitors in terms of performance. The TL is geared more towards luxury.

Well I honestly know very little about the Acura TL since we don't get it, so I can't really argue with that.

Other then the Speed6, Evo, and Sti how many car companies can crank out over 100 hp per litre using a turbo charger?
