Never seen it before. Looks nice though the rear is too classic to matche the front end. But the lines are OK.
I think this would be a better shape to make the 2+2.

    Probably not a Frua though.
And why do you say the rear holds well for a Lotus. What's usualy wrong with Lotus rears?

A pretty car, but a complete faulty construction!
In the back much too heavily, we had to insert in the back some much harder springs, so that the car did not rest simply on the lower pads. The character of the Lotus Elan was completely destroyed.
Doubt ever a truly intended serial production, the inserted engine, probably a badly functioning prototype.
The car had also go back to Frua for exchange the inside panelling, and to prevent the water falls on the inside of the car.
The car was resold in Lugano, can however not give further data.
So far I say it’s gave a similar, from Frua built, Maserati!

    welcome to UCP.
Can you possibly give some more indication how directly you are related to the car?

    Welcome indeed.

I do remember Silvio's efforts and determination to continue participating in F1. I read Auto Motor und Sport at those days as well as "l'Automolbile" which had a terrific motorsport in those days, unfortunately I gave away all the old copies.

It is very appropriate to commemorate Silvio with his own homepage, although my first thought after opening the link was of great surprise, thinking he was still alive.

How far are you with the restoration of the B24 and the Bellasi? Are you planning on any race (TGP) participations or will you limit yourself to demo runs?
