I thought all GT V8s came with fog lamps in the grille?

You aren't wrong! The previous owner has put a GT500 front and rear on hence the current position.

This photo below shows the car in its original state

Wow, very nice ride! I was going to say, looked like a GT500 to me but you answered my question.

I'm not sure if you're aware of the customs of this forum or not, but usually you seal the deal by doing a Egg Nogg test. You stab the shifter with a piece of paper with your user name on it.

What were you driving before this car?

I am indeed, I shall sort that out tomorrow when I pick it up. Ill take some more pics too.

I currently drive a chrysler 300c srt design and will continue to as my commuting car...don't think I could manage a 300 srt8 aswell as a mustang so went for the diesel alternative!!

Very nice! Stangs are so plentiful here that I really don't notice them, unless they're especially nice, but I bet that thing puts a lot of smiles on a lot of passer's by faces in the UK!

I know what you mean, went to Vegas and LA last year and was amazed at how many there were. i guess they are like our focus, so many everywhere but the occassional head turner!

Tbh, re the smiles I'm yet to find out myself but I've been pre-warned by the current owner to expect some attention

That reminds me of a Canadian man that brought his TVR Chimaera down to Watkins Glen. He was very surprised that i was so intrigued/excited to see one. He said they're all over the place in UK and not that special of a sight.

BTW, i love the black rims and chrome knock offs

Funny you say that re the TVR. I actually see fewer now than ever before...they breakdown too often so spe a lot of time wrapped up haha!

The wheels on the mustang are one of a kind, made by a chap here.

And I picked it up today...it goes like a rocket and I only stalled it 5 times hahaha!
The biting point on the clutch is pretty high!!

According to my rigorously unscientific test, I think I've seen more Mustangs than Camaros.

And the Camaro is officially imported by General Motors.

On the purchase, congratulations and enjoy it!

Still, they gotta be not a common sight....Both Camaro or Mustang are basically bread and butter around here, you see them at every corner...

Muscle cars are indeed rare. Fast cars here usually have diesel engines and an odd number of doors...
