TVR for me. This is just my opinion but I don't see track supercars like the FXX, F1 LM and A10 as "mad", they're really cool though.

The Keating TKR and LE1 Ground Fighter get points just for being way out there, designed by ambitious mad men

Renault Espace F1. What were they thinking?

I have to agree on the Espace F1. The fact that it is a people carrier, with a Formula 1 engine slammed in it is cool enough. But considering that it is just as fast around the track as the F1 car from which it got its engine is just mad.

The final clincher is that what other car allows you to plonk the kids right next to the 18,000 rpm V10 engine in between them!!! Pure insanity!

Actually I am suprised the TVR speed 12 isn't winning. From what I see it is one of the only cars that was refused entry on the road because the creators though it had too much power for the average driver.

Of the list, I would say the Ariel Atom 500, simply because, as has been said, its 300BHP little brother is mad. 200 more horsepowers is sheer insanity.

But not included in the list is a Top Fuel Minivan. Makes the Espace F1 look like a childs toy. I had witnessed this monstrosity this past summer. Loud as a mother****er. Has the same horsepower as a Top Fuel car, with half the wheelbase. 16in tires in the rear, and I believe 3in in the front. Torque Steer, anyone?
