The statistics on sanity are that one out of every four Americans is suffering from some form of mental illness. Think of your three best friends. If they're okay, then it's you.

    Yes, they were.

Technically speaking, North and south america aren't seperate continents, they are one continent (that also includes central america) that is called "America."

Technically speaking, it depends where you went to school, actually. Some countries will teach you theres 7 continents whilst some will teach theres 6. If you believe that the Americas are a single continent you may as well believe that Asia and Europe is a single continent IMO.

I would say the best cars are Asian and European cars (a tie between Asia and Europe). IMHO Asia and Europe are equal for making the best cars.

    This is stupid.

Each continent has its own qualities and pitfalls.

Europe- firstly, isn't that a bit generalised? The UK, France, Sweden and Germany (to name some) have totally different characteristics- in build, design, and target consumers. Nevertheless, UK cars have a reputation for being slightly unreliable (TVR or Rover), as do French cars, but German and Swedish cars are generally bulletproof. I'll take Europe on this occasion, because I'm feeling patriotic.

Asia- again, slightly misconstrued to be just Japan. Don't forget the Godawful Chinese cars, and slightly iffy Korean cars. Still, Honda and Nissan have always had my respect- just Honda a little more so

North America- powerful engines, dodgy handling, spongy suspension, varying degrees of design. Stereotype. Impossible to apply to things like the Corvette C6, new Mustang, 300C and Dodge Charger. I expect Slicks or rev440 voted for this

South America's car industry ain't exactly heaving. They make a few old VWs and, IIRC, a couple of Fiats (?). Someone please enlighten me if they make anything better...

Australia- hard to pigeonhole. Some of the Holdens and Fords are as dull as ditchwater, but then you have beasts like the Ford F6 Typhoon and Holden Maloo HSV. I love the Aussie cars that mean business, but the smaller ones I can buy here, too. Badge engineering for the win.

So, there you have it... a lengthy reason why this poll is completely useless and stupid.
