I'd always prefer a Ferrari V12. But I do love the Aurelia and even think it's design is more perfect. I have had a ride in old white one that belongs to a friend of mine and that it as an amazing modern feel. I doubt the Ferrari can match it from that point of view.

From a technical point of view, I'll take the Ferrari (Taz picking a Ferrari, go figure ), it's lighter, has more power and has a 5 speed as opposed to the Lancia's 4 speed.

I was thinking the exact same thing but actually prefer the body of the Lancia. Maybe the exterior of the Lancia with the innards of the Ferrari..

Don't think the Lancia is primitive, far from it actually. It has the first production V6 in the world, a transaxle gearbox for better weight distribution and independent rear suspension.

In fact in the 1951 Mille Miglia Lancia achieved a very remarkable second overall with nearly standard B20 2-litre driven Giovanni Bracco and Umberto Magioli only 20 minutes behind Gig Villoresi's 4.1-litre Ferrari 340 America, a car which had 3 times the power.

I'm a sucker for the small displacement Ferrari V-12s. They make a great noise. So it's the Ferrari for me.

    Lancia - looks awesome.
I'm dropping out to create a company that starts with motorcycles, then cars, and forty years later signs a legendary Brazilian driver who has a public and expensive feud with his French teammate.

I prefer the Ferrari, it seems to be better all around. Plus, as aNOBLEman said, I always liked small displacement V12's. The Lancia is very interesting also, but I admit I'm slightly biased toward Ferrari...

And looks. And the fact that once when Juan Manuel Fangio lost a flight to Monza he asked for a rented Aurelia B20 GT to get there. And the fact that the Ferrari is nowhere as cool as the Lancia... etc...

And Lancia can not even touch the coolness of Fiat.

Objectively speaking, Ferrari 195 Inter is in every way better car than Lancia Aurelia. But I happen to like Aurelia more and that is reason good enough to vote for Lancia.

again, apart from the handling department....what it lacked in power it made by a fantasticly balanced chassis...
