Singapore GP: Sebastian Vettel escapes late scares to take pole - F1 news - AUTOSPORT.com
If you should see a man walking down a crowded street talking aloud to himself, don't run in the opposite direction, but run towards him, because he's a poet. You have nothing to fear from the poet - but the truth.

And the race is BAU as well at the moment, with Vettel just steaming away from that safety car restart.

    Alonso and Raikkonen great races.

    Vettel, boring.

I saw Vettel's future today: on the billboard, advertising "uncompromised quality garage doors from Germany"

Actually, today it was Michael Schumacher's face up there on the billboard. But soon he will be replaced with Vettel - both as the most boring champion ever and as an ambassador for hinged garage doors.

This seems like another dumb penalty. Frankly, giving Webber a lift showed good sportsmanship and was a positive for the sport, I reckon. Also it's hardly the first time it's been done before. Not sure to what extent the mercs had to avoid Alonso though.

Analysis: why Webber and Alonso were punished for 'taxi' ride - F1 news - AUTOSPORT.com

Looks like there was more deal with the penalty than just the lift itself...

About Vettel, if today it was Hamilton or Alonso or really anyone else in his position people would be booing and say its boring....people don't like dominating victors...

The problem for me isn't so much having a dominating victor (that's one of the problems). The problem for me is the way Vettel wins, easily lapping two seconds a lap faster than the best of the rest.

If we agree that F1 isn't the most interesting motorsport out there, having someone that is so fast, that even if losing all the advantage it had halfway the race, was able to regain so much of it on the following laps that he could still pit and enter the track in first place isn't going to make any more interesting.

So whats the solution? Do we stop Bolt from running 100m because he is too fast?

Its also quite hilarious that he Vettel is probably the fastest driver that doesn't get any credit.....

Well being (virtually) a 4-time world champion is some credit, isn't it?

Also, can we double check his Red Bull doesn't have a 3 litre engine under the engine cover. Just, you know, to be on the safe side.
