    no that's a friend's long hair. mine is pretty lean and agile, not as solidly built. probably 40kg's.

    At that moment 40 km in to the race, I was still driving 44x28 not yet considering using my 39 (triple). But after 100km It was a different story.

    Did the 150km averaging 25 km/h.
    I was pretty happy with that. I hate cycling up hill, but it does give you a thrill when you succeed. And otherwise going down with nearly 75km/h does the trick.

    that's pretty good...your philosophy about climbing coincides greatly with mine. Doing descents of 5-6 km is like having an orgasm, but then for 10 minutes...
