If so, the 2004 Cobra costs about $35,000 and with its Waring Blender supercharger can out accelerate the standard C5 which costs about $48,000 (base price for the coupe is about $43,000). The C5 Z06 at $52,000 outruns the Cobra easily. When they come to the corner in the road, the Mustangs fall far behind as they should based on the price.
Hes talking about the 05 stang, and the 05 vette. Sure its not an even comparison, but some people actually voted for the stang...
BTW the SVT Cobra is slower than the standard C5 C&D Test
In acceleration a solid rear axle puts power down better than IRS.

I chose the vette, even though I like the new Mustang a lot. Since this is an "either/or" test, I go with the vette, because it's worth more (and is better performing) In comparisons like this, you should go with vehicles that are similar in price, or similar in performance.

WHAT? The C5 and the Z06 are 2 different models
    C5

The wheels usually give it away

Notice the air intake near the rear wheel.

Nice pics F1 Master As far as the comparison goes, the Corvette gets my vote. The 05 Mustang is the best looking one in yeeeeaaaaars but the Vette is in another class price and performance wise. I good comparison would have been the New Pontiac GTO (Holden) and the Mustang I think. In which case I would pick....hmmm....the GTO by a slim margin.

Since the same will go for the C6, the Z06 is also getting a new design that looks like the C6's. But not the same car.
They may share the same design in 2006, but the Z06 will be top of the line.

PS:It's just a few things I've heard of the Z06 getting a new design like the C6.
