    It is a famous example of what are known as 'Christmas Tapes', compilations of bloopers and funny sketches produced by the cast and crew of shows to be aired at the TV company's Xmas parties for their own private amusement. This one was leaked a few years ago and the myth arose that it was aired on kids TV in the 80s and that "Rainbow" was always full of oblique, filthy references when it really wasn't. Sorry to spoil the story.
