Actually, I do agree. I don't think I would want a black muscle car. I'd rather have a blue or red one.

I mean you can find other cars that accelerate and handle just about as well costing much less.

Reliability, too. That's probably my #1 priority for a car. I would not be much fun for me to own a car that keeps needing repairs.

And a Maserati is not a muscle car by American definitions because a muscle car does not have an extremely high price (muscle cars were/are affordable).
Would the Viper and Corvette be a muscle car then? They offer great performance, but many still refer to them as muscle cars.

My favorite colors- Silver, Black, White- not fussy colors.

Least Favorite colors- Dark brown (looks like crap), pale yellow (looks like a Twinkie, like the Maserati), and electric pink (like the Veyron that was painted that color).

Then again, some colors may be appropriate for some cars, like previous members noted.

It was originally white until Daimler Benz found that in the 1934 German Grand Prix their W25 race cars excedeed the 750kg limit by 1kg. Alfred Neubauer (then head of the Daimler Benz competition department) decided to scrap the white pain and the cars appeared the next day with their bare aluminium bodywork. The race was succesful and the legend was born. So silver being Germany's racing color is purely incidental.

I knew you had to know way more than I did. I was right.
