    ! Hear Ye,Hear Ye !!!!

In a previous post I made the statement that I had never seen any "hot-rodded"/ "tuners" Saabs. Mr.Ballz has since provided me with no less than 3 qualified examples to the contrary. I stand corrected, and as I said I would say.................."Holy sh1t, I have been blind all this time and I am SORRY"

    humbly yours,
    me

Yup, they had a works rally team from the 92 (late 50's) up to the 99 Turbo (early 80's). They wont several WRC rounds, but little else, mainly concentrating on nothern slippier rallyes, like the Swedish, the RAC or the 1000 Lakes.

Basically anything Scandinavians excel at? Only 2 or 3 non-Scandinavian drivers have won the 1000 Lakes ever...

Saab redefined rally cars with the two-stroke FWD 95 !!
Changed the world of rallying the equal of the Quattro did with AWD 30 years later
Monte and GB wins among many others.
A great clubman/national rally car too and still 95s win classic events. One runs in our local club. The V4 though Preferred the two stroke sound

Oooh... yeah, you can't forget about Erik Carlsson (sp?).
I'm dropping out to create a company that starts with motorcycles, then cars, and forty years later signs a legendary Brazilian driver who has a public and expensive feud with his French teammate.
