    Mercedes or tuner testcar?

I saw this new S-class yesterday on the German Autobahn, it was doing way over 200 km/h. It has a Roll cage (!?), 4 exhaustpipes and an unpainted front fender.

Is it a testcar of Mercedes (still testing with the S65) or from one of the German tuning company's? What do you guys think?

Seems to be an official AMG Testcar. License plates with A-GO and a number are mostly going to Mercedes and AMG. Also the A-Class mules had it.

Could also be a S73 AMG or something, because the exhaust pipes are different from the S65 ones...

It was the cage that amazed me the most when I saw this car, they must be doing some serious testing!

I hope not in the same way as the Mercedes test driver a couple of years ago that blew a woman off the road...

We were doing over 200 km/h to catch up with him, but he drove away from us (my wife was behind the wheel ). We entered a 120 km/h zone so we could catch up with him and take these pics.

How was it doing way over 200kmh if there's a Corsa just a few dozen meters infront of it?

Could be possible, that they use it at the Nurburgring for testing and there it is better to have a rollcage But at the other hand the Nordschleife is still closed because of snow...
