Following the teaser images released earlier this year, Techart have now revealed the full details of the upcoming GTstreet R. It is based on the latest 911 Turbo or Turbo S and comes with a choice of engine upgrades. The most potent of these is the TA 091/T2.1 Powerkit, which hikes the power of the twin-turbo Porsche engine to 720 hp and 920 Nm of torque. This allows the GTstreet R to accelerate to 100 km/h in well under 3 seconds and on to a top speed in excess of 340 km/h. To be produced in limited numbers, the new Techart will be available in 2017.
Audi, meanwhile, have completed the new S5 line-up with the introduction of the Cabriolet. Like the Coupe and the Sportback is powered by a twin-turbo V6, which is good for 354 hp. This power is transferred to all four wheels through an eight-speed gearbox. Compared to the outgoing model, the new S5 Cabriolet features a slightly longer wheelbase, freeing up additional interior space.
