    Prodrive P2 vs. X-Works X-1

    -> Both of these cars are based from the platforms of two iconic JDM rally street machines, the Lancer Evo and the WRX STi. Hand it over to the Brits and they came up with these:

    Prodrive P2 concept sports car '06

    LINK

    VS

    X-Works X-1 concept sports car '06

    LINK

    Specs:

    Prodrive (Subie)
    Engine = EJ20
    Power = 350hp
    Drivetrain = F-AWD
    Weight = 1100kg

    X-Works (Mitsu)
    Engine = 4G63
    Power = 350hp (500hp optional)
    Drivetrain = F-AWD
    Weight = 1180kg (road spec)

    ^ Since these two cars are similar in almost everthing (just like its JDM bretherens). Both of these cars looks promising, concept, and color. What do you guys think? It just itched up my mind.

    Isn't the Prodrive technically based on the Subaru R1?

    The body is, at least. It's a cut-down Subaru R1 cabin.
    I'm dropping out to create a company that starts with motorcycles, then cars, and forty years later signs a legendary Brazilian driver who has a public and expensive feud with his French teammate.

    £45,000 --- EU 53,605 for the X1
    as far as i know, the P2 is only a prototype

    Not bad, considering the work put into the car. I doubt these cars will make it to production over the numbers of, say, 20?

    I'd happily take an X1

    i think the prodrive looks a lot better
    and the prodrive is based on a r1 with a STi engine and prodrive's own fancy trick differential

    Well I've never even heard of the X-1 but I do know that the P2 will not be produced (unfortunately)

    I'm sure a lot of you have seen this before but here is a good video of the P2

    I'd take the P2, that TG video reminds me just how fun that thing would be to chuck around.

    ^ The Prodrive is, however the X1 is produced by demand per order. Just like ordering a kit car, but it is ready built.

    The P2 isn't a production car at all. It remains as a one-off prototype.

    They're both amazing as an technological feat. Also, they're both amazing in their ugliness.

    ^ Sorry, my mistake. I was implying the X-1.

    Obviously if the X-1 is the only one being produced, it's the one to choose. Apart from that, maybe the Prodrive would be a better pick (after all, they are racing experts...)
