Without a shadow of a doubt, the Jaguar XJ-13 as in my opinion it's the most beautiful car that jaguar has ever designed and I have had the privalage of seeing her, touching her and hearing her run, plus she was being driven by Norman Dewis at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in 2000... Sweeeeet!!!

My favorite has to be the McLaren F1 in either the road or LM guise. The GTR (Longtail) never did it for me.

Of more modern cars I'd take the Koenigsegg CCR, the closest to the design ideals of Gordon Murray, only it needs a supercharger to beat the 10 year old car.

The C6 is available this fall. 0-60 in 4.1 for about the same price and less weight.

    Wait for the C6 Z06 in 2005. 500 HP/500 pounds torque with a curb weight of 2800.

Havent heard of any problems in either Australia or the US in the LS1. I often see some pretty high milage LS1 still being raced and no problems at all.

All LS1s are known as "gen 3 small blocks."
If what you say is true then you must be getting the duds...

as far as i know, th GenIII's have piston slap and oil consumption issues...

Anyway, my fav car is the Cadillac Series 60 Special Fleetwood. Big, flashy yet classy, comfortable, has all the creature comforts you really need, and will probably tow an Airstream if I ever get around to buying and restoring one. Black paint, tuck + roll interior, Smithy's pipes, a gently massaged engine and a TH400 to back it up, and a CB radio and I'm set to see the USA.

If it has to be sporty, '69 Plymouth GT/X convertible. I'll take mine in 440/6-pack and 4-speed flavor, thank you.

Well my favourite would have to be Enzo Ferrari's Masterpeice the 1962 250 GTO. Styled by Bizzarrini it was an amazing car. It has a 3L V12 producing about 300bhp, which was also found in the 250 Testarossa. The top speed of the 250 GTO was 280kmh, which was very good at the time. The 250 GTO is the best Ferrari of all time, it won at Le Mans and it sure made Enzo Ferrari proud. To me it and the 288 GTO are the most beautiful Ferraris of all time. What a great car.
