nope. Buy a car to enjoy.

Seen lots of friends lose lots - thankfully most only in paper terms - when classic car prices tanked in 1990 when the influx of yuppie cash and no sense drove prices insanely high. A couple lost upwards of 50K in REAL terms as prices didn't recover and they'd invested in restorations to maximise return JUST before it all went tits up

Fear the current rush in prices may cause likewise as common sense prevails for all but a handful of marques or models.

Hey I'm no CPA, just think that if you kept the budget small, you can buy and flip a few cars! Thanks
