Well then who did smartarse, come on!

The cars ONLY for the Australian market, a product of Ford Australia to fill the void of the decreasing large car market represented by the Falcon and take advantage of the booming SUV market, of which the Explorer isnt taking advantage of.

And your saying Ford Australia wasnt responsible for that?

    Good man,

What would you use to patch up a mini sub frame together with a mig?

Front or rear and where has it gone ?
If it's the tops then I'd be wary of welding as a decent second hand or even a new one isnt' that expensive. You dont' want a suspenion cone coming up throguh the wings
Anywhere else is still iffy, unless it's just a small hole needing patched for MOT.
BUT. I'm guessing this is the autocross car.
So No MOT is needed and it desnt' need to be too pretty.
22 guage woudl be finf to patch over a whoel.
But if it's structural I'd go to 18 at least and maybe even thicker if aroudn turret tops. It depends what's there to weld to.
THE REAL problem is getting that to temp and welded with a MIG
You might find you need to preheat with gas - and then it's maybe as well gas welding it
PM me ir ttry get me on messsenger later and we can talk abotu it.

So your trying to say to cars that don't share wheelbase length. ride height,
IRS, Front ends, Engines, Transmissions are the same?????
And also the X5 does have a V8 in the range something the Territory can not fit under the bonnet.

You can thank Britain for the chassis though. But that engine is awesome.
