Very sad to hear that Dino will no longer be entering the GT4 challenge. He was a regular competitor from the birth of the Challenge, and can even lay claim to be the one person who beat Jack! He will be sorely missed.

As goes for me, seems that the Challenge is also taking a back stage to everything else. Putting in nowhere near the effort I used to before. I think I'll finish the season, and I will however continue to process the results for the forseeable future, may have to revert back to the old setup once the new season starts, as I doubt Ill be able to be a regular after that.

Nice to see a few new names, guess thats how life works. The 'oldies' fade away, only to be replaced by new talent! Good luck to you all, hope you all enjoy it as much as I did!

    On with the Challenge!

will have the pic up in a jiffy, just got to get it off the camera and resize it , then i will go and figure out what the next challenge will be...

on a side note, i would have beaten Jack in the first series when we were going for the fast lap around Le Mans... i bloody gave the game away a bit when i said i had cracked 3 minutes, so he went back and just got me... i reckon i would be equal with him now if he was racing...

ok for this week i would like to try something a little different... but only if you guys want to...

the circuit involved will be Grand Valley East

i want to know if you guys are keen or not. now you guys can race either of these in this week's challenge

    CHOICE 1: Renault Clio Renault Sport V6 24V '00
    or
CHOICE 2: Renault Clio Renault Sport V6 Phase 2 '03

they are both around the same speed around the track and hopefully you guys have one or the other, or both...

Competition Ends: Sunday, 29th of January, 2006 at Midnight in your respective areas...

Me thinks you have to win the Race Car via 'Clio Cup' in Renaults Manufacturer Races.

This is kind of fun, hopefully I can start getting more involved and putting more effort into my laps, and not sucking so bad

Edit: took the car for a test run, it drives much better than the elise, as it fits my style better!

What's the benchmark? I'm starting in the 1'12s, with little worry of screwing up all the time due to the car being much better than I thought.

nope, you are using the road cars, not the race cars, so no stickers down the sides...

AGAIN DON'T USE THE RACE CAR

you should be able to buy them in GT mode, then they will appear in Arcade mode, that is if you don't already have them...

and the benchmark is a second or 2 lower than a 1'12

I'm mid 1'10 after my first session (short one)... the car is a handful on the curve at the top of the hill; quite challenging combo.
