    V8 kelmark

Seems yer off to a good start! Scrap the crap... find a set of
finned alum. vette covers. Early 7 fin w/o breathers if you can vent
vapors elsewhere. Why not some alloy heads to keep performance up,
    and lbs. down?
These cars are quite stunning in Ferrari light gold. By using any
original color out of Maranello you'll keep most people guessing. I'd
suggest a lumpy cam to cut down low speed torque (saving transaxle). At
2000 lbs. minus performane would be impressive using a 283 cid V8. Not to
mention fuel mileage improvement over 5.7L. Big cam also allures to true
performance the original vehicle the Kelmark emulates. Last week I saw a
Kelmark featuring the air scoops at rear of doors... did later Kelmarks have
that feature from factory? What is side impact collision safety provision?
Are you planning on front/rear sway bars? I suggest a real fuel cell as well,
after all you're wrapping yer ass in fiberglass...

    best of luck, FS
