You'd be surprised how many design awards it won in the early 50's when Raymond Loewy's design first came out on the Studebakers. I'd have to say IMHO it's a very classy design.

I have to say though that it did work slightly better with the more uncluttered lines of the Stude, though...

Indeed when Stud took over Packard at the end of the fifties they had little ideas what to do with the brand, so they compromised their own car. Not such a good idea.

Worthy candidates all. But I can't think of anything more horrific than the Aztek. Hard to believe the same guy did the C6.

Yes, Aztek... couldn't remember its name. I change my vote to Aztec.

Don't forget, they sold heaps of those in the U.S, and you can thank a Ford Executive for saying to Import it only as a Niche car, rather than to replace the falcon with it. He lost his job for that analysis, but he saved the Falcon.

Taurus is it's name and it might have saved the Falcon but it's style unfortunately rubbed off on the AU so we won't get that hideous styling off our roads for a while

Taurus was part of the Fluid style Ford Design Phase, Falcon Was New Edge. Very different looking, though equally bad looking, cars.

Well any 'Bangle Designed' BMW belongs here. I think they are the most hideous cars I have ever seen. At least I won't be seeing any Aztecs in the UK, but these shit-heaps of BMWs are starting to flock the UK streets.

Don't look at this picture too long or you will puke all over your keyboard.

Bangle designed the Z8, he hasn't designed a car in five years.
If you should see a man walking down a crowded street talking aloud to himself, don't run in the opposite direction, but run towards him, because he's a poet. You have nothing to fear from the poet - but the truth.
