Le Mans Series Official Thread
This season Ultimatecarpage.com will attend all races of the Le Mans Series (LMS). With a month to go before the race the entry list is already packed with a competitive and diverse field so it should be great fun for us to shoot and report on and for you to follow! Reports of all races will of course be posted on the main page, but news between the races can be posted in this sticky thread.
Like the ALMS, the LMS (previously known as the Le Mans Endurance Series or LMES) is an officially Automobile Club de l'Ouest (ACO) sanctioned championship. This means the cars entered will have to comply with the same rules as the annual 24 Hours of Le Mans race. Many of the cars entered in the championship will also compete in the 24 hours in June. The season is kicked off with two official test days on the high speed Paul Ricard track in Le Castellet, France at the end of the month. The championships consists of five races held over 1000 km with a maximum of six hours.

If you should see a man walking down a crowded street talking aloud to himself, don't run in the opposite direction, but run towards him, because he's a poet. You have nothing to fear from the poet - but the truth.
