Superleggera was just the name given by Carrozzeria Touring to the method of construction of their bodies, nothing to do with the modern Audi usage.
Corsa A GSi and Series 3 Spider in excellent condition, by the way.

What I've seen over the last few days:
Friday - Saw two XK Jaguars within about five minutes of eachother in Wahroonga. One was green and had a two piece windscreen and the other was red with a one piece curved screen. Also saw an early 1960s Ford Fairlane, white with a red flash down the side, at Westfields in Hornsby.
Saturday - Saw a white Peugeot 404 at Lidcombe (on the road between the railway and Rookwood cemetery). Saw a silver (or maybe it was grey - it was after 7pm so the light wasn't too good) Sunbeam Alpine at Artarmon. It had an airscoop (or whatever they are called) on the bonnet but otherwise looked good.
Sunday - Saw a couple of hotrods at Wentworthville. One looked like it was based on a 1920s Ford (or a replica of one) and the other was something from the late 1930s - don't know what it was but it had a tall very narrow grille with horizontal slats. Also at Greystanes saw a blue mid 1960s Mustang coupe that appeared to be undergoing restoration. Also went past that mechanic's workshop in Cleveland Street in the afternoon and there were a few cars outside including an dark grey MG Magnette, dark grey Humber Super Snipe and a red and white early to mid 1960s Ford Falcon (the one with the round rear lights set high up.
Oh yes, and if anyone is around Waterloo, there's a really cute little blue and white (1950s ?) Morris van parked outside Winning Appliances in Danks Street as an advertisement for the company.
on the road, western sydney (around Drummoyne) i saw a Murcielago SuperVeloce, and that's just awesome, there's probably only a handful in OZ
Saw an SLS tonight, parked in the rain. Certainly stood out in a quiet (expensive) suburban street.
Life's too short to drive bad cars.
Saw a right hand drive Land Rover Defender on my way to school Sunday.
Cool stuff, it had modern Discovery wheels and all.
I'm surprised the DMV allows right hand drive cars.
A Lotus 7 "clone"....literally as the car was done as a machine shop project by actually copying an actual 7 to create a twin. The current owner swapped the old motor with a 4AGE from a donor MR2....
And a Citroen C6....

Yea....I went to a Cars and Coffee in the area since the weather is still nice, though its much colder now. And one of them pulled in(no pic, I am ashamed to say I forgot memory card....lol). With a New Jersey manufacturer's plate. I am guessing its one of the test car for one of the many suppliers in the SE Michigan area. I guess its not entirely odd, since where I work we have 2 Peugeot 407 test cars. But Its still the first time I've seen a modern Citroen in US....
That car has one of the oddest rear glass I've ever seen....

I was driving through Guildford a few days ago and found myself behind a yellow VL Commodore. Nothing really rare or unusual about that, but this one was in brand new condition and looked as if it had just been driven out of the showroom. Given that the VL was produced in the late 1980s, it made me feel like I was stuck in a time warp....
