the 2000 cobra R can't be matched against either camaro or the pontiac, it comes stock with 385 horses and has a race setup(somewhat), for road roacing.
i'd still choose it, i just like that car.

It depends what "others" we can specify. If you're doing a comparison of american cars then i would pick the corvette. Although it costs a little more than these other cars (not sure about Mustang Cobra R) its performance and overall satisfaction per price is alot better than these other cars i would say. I think the corvette is a bargain.

Well the Camaro and Firebird are pretty much the same thing, except for the SLP firehawk.
And the Cobra R shouldnt be in this comparison being $55,000+.
From the factory the F-bodies are quicker then the Mustang, if thats what your asking. And there pretty much evenly matched in everthing else.

Since the Camaro and T/A are out of production, I'll stick the GTO in here and pick it. Why? Better build quality, much nicer interior, and 400 HP (2005 model).

i picked the fireturd/camaro lol. both offer fantastic performance even if the build quality isnt ver good. but when you put your foot in it and feel that pushrod power, you don't really care about that anyway.

Bingo TheOne, the 2000 Cobra R is one slick Mustang. Not only does it look awesome, but it comes with a great powertrain. This thing is a beast on the track.
