    hmmmm.
RS4 Avant. i like the BMW too, but the audi isn't the common choice
Most of the time people won't notice the RS badging, so it makes a nice sleeper car
    Especially the Avant

gaining 120 hp with just a new ECU is a little too much imo.
surely two turbos are there for some reason though.

    no replacement for displacement!
turbo, kompressor, direct injection...or simply volumetric (and non) efficiency.

Turbo/biturbo V6 makes more sense. the I5 is reportedly going to be used on the TT-RS, but it would be quite expensive for such a limited use.
even if it would (almost) be made cutting the V10 e re-balancing it.

    EDIT: ops, I forgot: E46 M3 kthnksbai.
if possible, with the sport package (cls rims+breaks and some other things here and there)

Actually now that you mention it, it does sound a bit far fetched. Still, the 335i's gain of only 35kW over the stock 330i sounds a bit low, especially considering the two turbos.

I guess BMW didn't want the 335i to impede too much on the M3's turf.

I also read that the turbos on the 335 are running at quite low boost - maybe only around 5 psi?

Yes, two small turbos running low boost trying to minimize lag. Not a huge power increase, but respectable power at any rate. Besides, if they did up the boost and the power they'd have to make more internal chnges to the engine which would in turn increase the cost. There ain't no such thing as a free lunch. Tuners like to just up the boost without making other changes but that's kind of a half assed approach that BMW can't really take.

but even with those devices, the more displacement the more power that can be made regardless! hence no replacement for displacement!

also the 335 engine is incredibly efficient! thats a plus no matter how you slice the pie. 1800 rpm and 300 torque is truck like!

The Dodge Viper is there to say you are wrong.
8.3 liter and the same power of a 6 liter, both without the devices and tech I posted above.

well there are exceptions but you can get 1200 horsepower out of a viper motor with ease! of course you can do the same with a supra engine with a lot more work and a supra engine is almost a third of the viper engine but the viper will remain drive ability more so then the supra!

What is the difference between m3 and 335i? Both seem to be of 3 series.

    Mainly engine and suspension.

The 335i has in inline 6 cylinder with twin (low pressure) turbos, the M3 have a 4 litre V8.

The M cars have a different suspension set up, and maybe even different geometry (older ones do) all aimed at reducing roll, but at the potential cost of comfort and noise intrusion to the cabin.

There are also some other parts on the M cars that are upgraded like the roof - Carbon Fibre so long as the sunroof isn't selected.

    M3 has a 4.0L V8 and sportier suspension.
    335i has a 3.0L biturbo straight-6.
