1973 Datsun 240Z
Spent 2 years restoring this 1973 datsun, finished it in spring of 2003. Its loud and burns lots of fuel through the triple webers.
Here's a link to the resto.I decided not to sell it but I can't update this site anymore as geocities has disappeared.

Nice work. The engine shots are pure porn

Man, that's a nice Z... great job documenting your build, too! Why were you even thinking of letting it go?

Wow, looks like you're not new to UCP but you've only recently posted about your Datsun.
Looks like a nice setup you've got there. |

9,5/10. With original/other wheels it would be 10/10, these are too modern for the car IMO.

Wheels are easy to change. Watanabe F8s would be better, but it's his car.

The best 8 spoke out there, methinks. I prefer it to Minilites and Panasports even though I think it was originally intended to be a copy. They just work on so many cars. I think whiteballz said a while back for an easy, but expensive, sexy car "Wats plus low. Go!"

simmons have a pretty long history with datsun Z/mazda RX3/4/5s, and 911's. it's not a bad choice, especially with the better selection of tyres in 17".. i'd love for manufacturers to bring back decent rubber for wider, smaller diameter wheels.

Great job on your Z!
I would love to have a 240 ZG or make one with the available parts to go with my Nismo 350. |
