Alonso becomes first double winner in 2012 with superb European GP victory - F1 news - AUTOSPORT.com
Pretty crazy race, by far the best race ever on the boring track of Valencia Street circuit....Looked like a Vettel runaway until safety car for a relatively inane incident. Then reliability woes struck and all hell broke loose.

Observation about the race though, the marshaling was appalling, we have marshals pushing Vettel's stricken car off the track, ON the racing surface, and we see a green flag waving right there in the foreground? Or when Grojean's car pulled over and NO ONE came to retrieve the car? Then you have the odd ruling for penalties...Senna v Kobayashi I can see that, then Maldonado v Hamilton was kinda stupid....

Maldonado's move on Hamilton was stupid, there was no need to be so aggressive about it. If he gave it half a lap more he would've just cruised on by. All in all though, it was a Valencia race that wasn't boring. Who'da thunk it?!

Thinking back though, both of them were super aggressive through out....I think mixing both it was sorta inevitable....I remember thinking if they took each other out Schumacher would be on the podium, and then boom...

Anyone also noticed McLaren employed the swiveling front jack that Ferrari and Mercedes use? And hilariously the jack failed again pitting Hamilton the 2nd time? They just can't get their pitstop right....

I was almost bummed out when Vettel was so far ahead...then it looked like Hami might take it, too bad he was so bullheaded he threw away third after recovering from the jack debacle.

Where would Ferrari be without Alonso???

Another exciting race....hope the unpredictability continues.

I agree, one of the best seasons in recent memory for me. So unpredictable, you just never know what is gonna happen next. And who would have thought at this point that Ferrari and Alonso would be the first multiple win team after their dismal start of the season !!

Hambone didn't so much throw it away as have a Williams thrown at him. Pastor launched into the side of him from off the side of the track, and was subsequently penalised for it.

Racing with a bit more "big picture" in mind he would have have 4th place points, as opposed to no points....

Revenge for Monaco 2011? Was kind of hoping for a Lotus win to make it 8 in 8, but another exciting race nonetheless

I think Hami was frustrated with the botched pit stop not to mention previous ones so he was driving pissed and that fogged his judgement.

I think Pastor should've re-entered the track safely after a failed passing attempt.

This is really good platform to get latest updates of GP of Europe 2012. I agree with Pimento pastor should have reenter track safe even if he has failed passing attempt.
